Muhammed Zahid Ozturk

Muhammed Zahid Ozturk has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and research. Muhammed Zahid is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Origin AI since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland from August 2019 to August 2022. Before that, they gained valuable experience as an R&D Intern at Origin Wireless AI from May 2019 to August 2019. Muhammed also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland from August 2018 to May 2019. Additionally, they held intern positions at GenXComm Inc. as a Hardware Engineering Intern from May 2016 to July 2016, and at istLink Communications Inc. as a Hardware Engineering Intern from June 2015 to July 2015.

Muhammed Zahid Ozturk pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Muhammed Zahid began their academic journey in 2013 at Boğaziçi University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2018. In 2016, they had the opportunity to participate in an exchange program at The University of Texas at Austin as a student of Electrical & Computer Engineering. Ozturk then continued their studies at the University of Maryland, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021. Muhammed Zahid further advanced their knowledge by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field at the University of Maryland, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
