Afonso Alban

Afonso Alban has extensive experience in frontend development, with a focus on building websites and applications. Afonso started their career as a Photo Editor at Stúdio D in 2006, where they developed digital image editing skills and created artwork for various purposes. In 2009, they transitioned to become a Video Editor at the same company.

After that, Alban worked as a Bolsista de Iniciação Científica (Undergraduate Research Fellow) at Universidade de Passo Fundo from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they gained research experience in a scientific context.

Afonso then joined OWS as a Frontend Developer in 2010, where they designed web pages, created successful websites, and developed various documentation to support end-users. Alban worked at OWS until 2014.

From 2015 to 2019, Alban held multiple roles in different companies. Afonso started as a Frontend Developer at Plano Transmedia in 2015, where they reviewed and made refinements to existing programs. Later that year, they joined Pmweb as a Frontend Developer, reviewing web elements for accuracy and functionality, devising solutions for multiple websites, and validating code for proper structuring and compatibility.

In 2019, Alban became a Frontend Engineer at Warren Investimentos, where they brought mock-ups to life with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, researched new web technologies, and designed tools and scripts to support projects.

Afonso then joined PagSeguro PagBank in 2020 as a Senior Frontend Developer, creating successful websites that met requirements and investigating alternatives for continuous improvement. Alban returned to Warren Investimentos later in 2020 as a Senior Frontend Developer, and in 2022, they took on the role of Frontend Technology Specialist, building components and implementing improvements to boost site performance.

Most recently, Alban joined Origin in 2023 as a Senior Frontend Developer, further showcasing their expertise in frontend development.

Afonso Alban obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Passo Fundo, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. Afonso pursued further studies and completed a post-graduation program specializing in User Experience at UniRitter, from 2016 to 2018. In 2021, Afonso began an MBA program in Leadership, innovation, and management 4.0 at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Networking: Como Criar uma Rede de Contatos Profissionais from LinkedIn in March 2023, Design System in Code from Meiuca in March 2022, Comunicação e Oratória from Escola Conquer in September 2021, and TOEFL-ITP from ETS in July 2021.
