Yash Shah

Yash Shah is the current Senior Director of Product at Originate. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product at Sling Media from February 2012 to May 2016. Shah was responsible for building the product team from scratch to manage roadmap and delivery of SlingTV product to improve quality, agility and build upon first-mover advantage. Yash also increased monthly active users by 40% of the flagship app for DISH Network by improving the stability and ease of use of DISH Anywhere.

Shah introduced new capabilities to DISH's mobile apps which earned them the CES 2014 Best in Show award. Yash also developed a second screen app designed to redefine how users watch television at home, which received a 5-star rating in the Apple App Store. In addition, Shah interfaced with engineering, design, QA, Beta and analytics teams to maintain a roadmap of features to improve overall user experiences . Yash also introduced new Agile development techniques to reduce development time and improve quality to create more efficient release cycles.

Before their tenure at Sling Media, Shah worked as a Product Manager at Cisco Systems from July 2011 to November 2011. Yash also served as a Product Manager Intern at Cisco Systems from May 2010 to August 2010. Shah holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business which they obtained in August 2009.

Yash Shah obtained a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Yash then went on to obtain an MS in the same field from the same school. Finally, they completed an MBA in Business from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business.

Yash Shah reports to Jacek Grebski, SVP of Product. They work with Ryan Sandberg - Director of Product, Brian Tom - Director of Product, and Sabina Mamedova - Senior Product Manager.
