Venkatram Reddy

Venkatram Reddy is a Whole Time Director and the CEO of Origo Finance. He is highly experienced in the areas of business development, operations, investment management and advisory services. Prior to Origo, Venkat was leading the investment and portfolio management for Caspian's multi-sector impact debt fund. During his tenure with Caspian, his responsibility included participation in Board and Management Committees of portfolio companies.

Venkat has nearly two decades of experience, including ICICI Bank where he was responsible for managing the Bank's micro credit assets (amounting to ~$100 mn). Prior to this, Venkat worked with BASIX where he was responsible for multiple businesses, including financial services for the farming community. Venkat has also worked with leading agri-input companies in India where he managed various networks including distributors, retailers and farmers. Venkat is a graduate in Agriculture Sciences from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University.
