Gunnar Petersen

Gunnar Petersen has held various finance and leadership roles throughout their career. Starting as an FX and derivatives dealer at Icebank in 1999, they progressed to positions such as Director of Capital Markets at VBS Investment Bank, Client Executive at HSH Nordbank, and CFO at Real Estate Company Stodir hf. Gunnar also served as COO and later CFO at Landic Property hf, held the CFO position at Iceland Express, and then moved on to be the CFO at Nýherji Hf. Currently, they serve as the Group CFO at Origo Iceland.

Gunnar Petersen began their education in finance at the University of Newcastle in 1998, and continued their studies at Háskóli Íslands, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1999. Gunnar later pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General at Reykjavik University.
