Nir Dagani

Nir Dagani is the Algorithm Team Leader at Oriient. Prior to this, they worked as an AI applied research engineer at General Motors from April 2021 to September 2022. Nir also worked as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at WSC Sports from March 2018 to October 2021, where they were responsible for research and development of algorithms in the field of computer vision for images and videos in various sport domains. Nir has experience in all different stages of NN development, including training, hyperparameter search, metric selection, complex multitask loss manipulation, etc. Nir is experienced in video level tasks such as action recognition, action detection and group activity detection. Nir is also experienced in a variety of image level tasks including classification, detection, segmentation, recognition and regression. Nir is experienced with cloud environment tools such as Azure and AWS. Nir programming skills include Python and the latest DL framework - TensorFlow and Keras.

Nir Dagani has a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University. Nir also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben Gurion University. Nir started their educational career at Shoham HIgh School where they studied Physics and Computers. Nir later obtained their Bachelor of Science - BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
