Lauren Alpert Maurer

Lauren Alpert Maurer, PhD, currently serves as Product Manager at Wilson Language Training, having previously held the same title at Orijin™ and also worked as Product Owner at the company. With a foundation in cognitive science and philosophy of education, evidenced by a PhD from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, Lauren has experience in the EdTech domain with roles at OpenMind Platform, where responsibilities spanned from product ownership to front-end development. Notable accomplishments include implementing technology for educational trials and enhancing user satisfaction in peer-to-peer learning features. Additionally, Lauren has an extensive teaching background at Baruch College and has contributed to research initiatives at various institutions, including a role as a Research Assistant at the Tisch MS Research Center of New York.
