Lisa Thomson-Roop

Lisa Thomson-Roop is a Community Relations Specialist at Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital since April 2022. Prior to this role, Lisa served as the Manager for the Downtown Orillia Management Board from February 2008 to April 2022, where responsibilities included managing events and projects, developing operational budgets, and fostering relationships within the business community. Lisa has a background in broadcasting, having worked as an Afternoon News Anchor for 105.9 Jack FM/KICX 106 from November 2003 to February 2008, and as a Morning News Anchor/Co-Host at Moose FM from July 2002 to November 2003. Lisa's educational foundation includes a degree in Journalism - Broadcast from Fanshawe College and studies at Seneca Polytechnic.
