Gretchen Loughran

Gretchen Loughran is an experienced educator with a robust background in special education and instructional support. Currently serving as an Instructional Support Teacher at Orinda Union School District since August 2018 and as a Learning Specialist at Hong Kong International School since August 2014, Gretchen has specialized in providing individualized and small group instruction utilizing research-based programs. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at San Ramon Valley Unified and Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount University, where Gretchen contributed to teacher training in special education. With a Master's degree in Education from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Washington, Gretchen has demonstrated a commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments and enhancing student support through collaboration with teachers, parents, and professionals.
