Andreas Malmström has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Andreas started their career in 2011 as an IT Controller at Volvo Car Group Graduate Program. After that, they worked as a Program Controller for the Product Strategy & Vehicle Line Management unit, where they had cost and investment responsibility for various car components. Andreas then took on the role of Lead Program Controller, responsible for the cost and investment of future car models.
Malmström also worked as a Business Controller, overseeing logistics and manufacturing operations in China, and later focused on customer service in the same region. Andreas achieved significant cost savings and implemented new financial processes and routines.
At Volvo Cars, Malmström served as the Director of Business Control & Revenue Management, leading a team responsible for setting price strategies and optimizing revenue and costs. Under their leadership, the company achieved a 10% year-on-year revenue growth, outperforming the growth of cars on the road.
Most recently, Malmström has taken on the role of CFO at Hedin Parts and Logistics, a subsidiary of Hedin Mobility Group. The company was acquired by Hedin Mobility Group in July 2022.

Andreas Malmström holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In 2008, they also completed MBA courses in Business Administration at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
