Over 50 years, the Oriol Family and staff have provided a high standard of quality care established by Eugene L. Oriol, the founder and first administrator of Holden Nursing Home, in 1965. 

We pride ourselves on staying consistent with Mr. Oriol's vision for providing health care that is comfortable and dignified for our residents and rewarding for professional and dedicated employees.

Oriol Health Care has grown to include Holden Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (established as Holden Nursing Home in 1965) and Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center (established 1985).  Oriol Health Care recently completed a $16 million renovation and addition project at Holden Rehab, which is now home to the former Wachusett Extended Care Facility.

The Nursing and Clinical Support team at Oriol Health Care is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents across our facilities. Comprising skilled professionals such as RNs, LPNs, and geriatric nursing assistants, the team ensures the physical and emotional well-being of residents while upholding the dignity and comfort established by our founder. Their collaborative approach also includes providing clinical oversight and support, coordinating care plans, and promoting effective communication among staff, residents, and families.
