James Regan

James Regan is the CEO of Oriole Networks, focusing on accelerating Machine Learning in a Low-Carbon world. He also serves as Chairman at ARC Marine, working on strategic growth plans and global expansion. Additionally, he is the Technical Programme Committee Co-Chair at TOP Conference, organizing the UK's conference on Optics, Photonics, and Quantum communications. With a background in various roles in the photonics industry, including as the former CEO of EFFECT Photonics, James brings a wealth of experience in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationships. Throughout his career, he has also been involved in European business development services, start-up advising, and strategic marketing. James holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Plymouth and a Foundation degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Exeter College.
