Ivan Luketina

Ivan Luketina has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ivan currently holds the role of Energy and Markets Insight Lead at Orion NZ Ltd since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Policy Advisor at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet in New Zealand from October 2020 to July 2022. Ivan also served as a Principal Advisor, Senior Policy Analyst, and Policy Analyst at the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) from July 2015 to October 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Agriculture Market Analyst at AgriHQ / NZX Agri from July 2012 to July 2015, where they were responsible for market analysis and reporting on forestry and dairy markets, as well as providing commentary on various reports.

Ivan Luketina completed a Bachelor of Forestry Science degree in Forestry at the University of Canterbury from 2007 to 2012. Ivan then pursued a Diploma in Business Studies in Economics at Massey University from 2014 to 2016. Ivan later obtained a Master's Degree in Forestry Economics from the University of Canterbury in 2016-2017.
