Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Previously, Chris worked as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design and repair, and served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary supporting engineering labs. Prior experience also includes a role as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, where Chris contributed to control systems for forestry harvester units. Chris Nicol holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
