Matthew Kondratowicz

SVP, Head of the Investment Performance & Optimization Group at Orion Energy Partners

Matt Kondratowicz is Senior Vice President and Head of the Investment Performance & Optimization Group responsible for driving value creation, improving efficiency, executing follow-ons and divestitures, and mitigating risk across Orion Energy's investment portfolio.

Prior to joining fulltime, Mr. Kondratowicz served as an advisor to Orion Energy including assisting in the execution of the Bakersfield Renewable Fuels investment.

Previously, Mr. Kondratowicz spent 7 years at CSL Capital Management, where he led numerous buyouts, growth equity, corporate carve-outs, and de novo investments in the energy sector. Prior to that he spent two years as Vice President at the Deutsche Bank Masdar Cleantech Fund and two years as Associate at Citi Sustainable Development Investments; in both roles he provided growth equity to renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure companies. Over his career, Mr. Kondratowicz has played a leading role in transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in capital including Fountain Quail Energy Services, PyraMax Ceramics, Torrent Energy Services, PetroStar Services, SolarReserve, Poseidon Water, and GreatPoint Energy.

Mr. Kondratowicz started his career in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York focusing on international trade, economic development, and global energy markets.

Mr. Kondratowicz received a M.B.A. from The Wharton School of Business, a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Economics-Mathematics from Columbia College magna cum laude
