Alberto Polettini

Alberto Polettini, CSCP has extensive work experience in supply chain management and operations. Alberto is currently the Senior Director Global Supply Chain at Orion Engineered Carbons, where they are responsible for leading the strategic development of the integrated supply chain process and implementing overall supply chain operations. Prior to this role, Alberto worked as a Consultant, handling various projects from October 2020 to April 2021. Alberto also served as the Supply Chain Manager and Director of Contract Logistic Europe at Evonik from January 2018 to October 2019, leading strategic projects to integrate Air Products PMD Supply Chain into various business lines. Alberto has a long history with Air Products, where they held multiple roles including Supply Chain Manager Europe for the Performance Material Division from October 2010 to December 2017, and Supply Chain Manager Europe for the Electronics and Performance Materials Divisions from January 2003 to September 2010. Before their roles at Air Products, Alberto worked at Ashland, Inc. as Quality & EHS Manager from August 1997 to December 2002 and as Electronic Chemicals Laboratory Manager from September 1994 to July 1997. Alberto'scareer began at the European Commission, where they served as ICP-MS Application Manager at the Joint Research Center (JRC), Environment Institute from September 1993 to August 1994.

Alberto Polettini, CSCP, has a Master's Degree in Biology with a focus on Applied Ecology from Università degli Studi di Milano, which they obtained between 1985 and 1990. In 2019-2020, they attended the IISCM-Institute for Integrated Supply Chain Management | APICS | CSCP|CLTD|ASCM Certification course, where they became a Certified Supply Chain Professional. In addition to their educational background, Alberto has also obtained various certifications such as Innovation Manager, Blockchain Basics, and ISO certifications related to quality systems and safety.
