Karlene Robinson (nee Sallen) has had a diverse range of work experience in technical writing and product documentation. Their most recent role is as a Product Specialist at Orion Health, where they are part of a team developing the company's next-generation data platform with Machine Learning. Their responsibilities include writing business requirements, information mapping, and building product documentation.

Prior to their current role, Karlene worked as a Contract Technical Writer for Precision Driven Health, where they provided technical writing services.

Karlene also worked as a Contract Technical Writer for Vocus Communications, where they worked primarily with Product Managers to develop an online Product Catalog. Karlene also proposed approaches for documenting Processes and Procedures online and proposed structures for Product Handbooks.

Prior to that, from 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) program at Victoria University of Wellington, focusing on Information Science. Furthermore, from 1986 to 1992, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (BCom/LLB) degree at The University of Auckland, with a concentration on Business, Management, and Law.
