Martin Tiangco began their professional career as a Software Configuration Intern at ecoPortal in December 2019. In this role, they redesigned and redeveloped ecoPortal's Health & Safety Self-Assessment Tool using a full-stack of MySQL, Express, React, and Node.js.
In 2019, they also served as a Secretary/Executive Member for the Web Development & Consulting Club. In this role, they coordinated with university student groups and lecturers for administrative duties, arranged web design meetings and events, and helped organize programming bootcamps and projects with companies and other clubs.
Since November 2020, Martin has been working at Orion Health. Martin started as a Software Engineer Intern, where they designed frontend bug fixes and features for the Clinical Portal product. Martin developed these improvements using React and Redux. Martin then progressed to the role of Graduate Software Engineer and is currently working as a Junior Software Engineer.
Overall, Martin has gained experience in software development, web design, and administrative duties through their various roles at ecoPortal, the Web Development & Consulting Club, and Orion Health.
Martin Tiangco attended The University of Auckland from 2018 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Software Engineering.
