Vivin Rane has worked primarily at Orion Technologies LLC, starting as a Hardware Design Intern in 2015 before becoming a Hardware Design Engineer in 2016. In these roles, they have been involved in the modification, review, testing, and programming of single board computers and prototype boards. Vivin has also been responsible for designing and qualifying electronic circuits and full systems, as well as creating Factory Acceptance Tests and Technical & Operating manuals. Prior to their time with Orion Technologies, Vivin worked at Larsen & Toubro Limited's Heavy Engg. Division from 2008 to 2014, where they held various positions including Engineering Executive Grade-2, Engineering Executive Grade-1, and Graduate Engineer Trainee. In these roles, they were responsible for manufacturing, testing, integration, and troubleshooting of multiple types of electronic cards, modules, and sub-systems, as well as using design tools for circuit simulation and testing. Vivin also worked as a Technical Intern at Larsen & Toubro Limited in 2008, where they focused on developing an Ethernet-based remote I/O module for embedded controllers.

Vivin Rane completed their education in a chronological order. Vivin first attended Madhavrao Bhagwat High School from 1995 to 2005, where they completed their high school education without any particular field of study. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Sathaye College to pursue their high school education, focusing on the field of Science. Afterwards, they enrolled at K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Lastly, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.
