Katja Kuokkanen

Katja Kuokkanen is a seasoned professional in the field of neurobiology and pharmacology, currently serving as a Senior Research Project Manager and Senior Research Scientist at Orion Corporation since January 2004, where leadership in in vitro pharmacology research is a primary focus. Prior to this, Katja was a PhD student at Åbo Akademi University from October 1994 to January 2004, specializing in signal transduction, pain mechanisms, and immunohistochemistry. Katja earned a Licentiate degree in Neurobiology from Åbo Akademi University between 1995 and 2004, following a Master of Science in Cell Biology from the same institution, completed in 1994.
