Lauri Linnainmaa

Lauri Linnainmaa has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Lauri started their career as a Salesperson in Westerwesa Oy/Suunnistajan kauppa. After that, they worked as a Tax Preparer in the Finnish Tax Administration for multiple years, where they handled tax assessment processes and provided customer service. Lauri then joined the Finnish Tax Administration as a Tax Preparer again, focusing on salary taxation and assisting individuals with their tax matters. Following this, Lauri worked at EY as a Tax Trainee, Junior Tax Advisor, and later as a Tax Advisor, primarily focusing on transaction projects and tax due diligence. Lauri then joined Fiskars Group, where they held various positions such as Tax Analyst, Transfer Pricing Specialist, and Tax Controller before becoming a Tax Manager. In this role, they managed operative transfer pricing, tax reporting, project management in global compliance outsourcing, and provided training and guidance to finance teams globally. Currently, Lauri is working as the Head of Corporate Tax at Orion Corporation.

Lauri Linnainmaa started their education journey in 2007 at Sammon keskuslukio, where they graduated with a Secondary School degree in an undisclosed field of study in 2011. Lauri then pursued higher education at the University of Tampere from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Tax Law/Taxation. Continuing their education at the same university, Lauri completed a Master of Science (BS) degree in Tax Law/Taxation with a specialization in Accounting from 2015 to 2017. During the academic year of 2015, they also spent a period as an exchange student at the University of Mannheim, focusing on Accounting and Taxation.
