David DeMilt

David DeMilt is Managing Director, Investor Solutions, within the Asset Management business of ORIX Corporation USA. He is responsible for coverage of institutional investors, capital raising and business development for the firm’s product platform. Mr. DeMilt joined the firm in 2022 from Oaktree Capital Management, where he was Managing Director, Marketing and Client Relations. He is based in New York City.

Mr. DeMilt has more than 27 years of financial services experience, with a focus on client relationship management, fundraising, and structuring custom solutions. At Oaktree Capital he was responsible for developing and managing large market institutional investor relationships, including with public and private pensions, insurance companies, endowments, and foundations. Prior to Oaktree, Mr. DeMilt was a Managing Director and Head of Financial Institutions, Corporates and Funds at Kroll Bond Rating Agency. He previously worked at Goldman Sachs for 10 years, as a Vice President in the Americas Financing Group and as an Executive Director in the EMEA Origination Group in London, and at Fitch Ratings as a Senior Director in Structured Finance.

Mr. DeMilt earned a BA from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Fordham University.
