The commercial law firm orka is an independent full-service law firm with offices in Düsseldorf and Berlin. For more than 25 years (formerly: Orth Kluth Rechtsanwälte), companies from Germany and abroad have mandated us as strategic legal advisors as well as creative contract drafters and transaction lawyers, conflict resolvers and arbitrators or legal housekeepers.

Our clients are start-ups, medium-sized companies and corporations, including numerous Dax 40, MDax, TecDax and Euro Stoxx 50 companies. We also advise public companies and ministries at federal and state level. Internationally, we are closely networked with renowned independent law firms abroad, with whom we cooperate on an ongoing basis on cross-border mandates.

We see ourselves as a team of experts with an eye for the big picture, because it is our top priority that the results of our advice make business sense. We know the markets and the daily challenges in the legal department. Our response to time pressure is efficiency and organizational strength. We counter complexity with practical relevance and creativity. We have always retained the spirit of a dynamically growing law firm. Start-up at heart, experienced and unerring in our actions – that’s how we convince top-qualified lawyers who want to join us.

Our clients value us for first-class, practical and solution-oriented legal results. We grow primarily through the satisfaction of our clients and through the recommendations of inhouse counsels who move to new employers and bring us to their attention because of their positive experiences. Our success and strength are based on the satisfaction, trust and loyalty of our clients.
