Torstein Gaarder Skarsgard

Torstein Gaarder Skarsgard is an experienced project manager currently working at Orkla ASA since March 2018, specializing in consumer goods within the Nordic and Baltic regions. Prior to this role, Torstein co-founded CTbirds AS, a company focused on data-driven decision-making in technical stock formations. Torstein served as an operative project manager at SLB from July 2012 to March 2015, overseeing offshore project execution related to drilling and completion fluids. Additional experience includes project coordination at The Gas Technology Centre NTNU-SINTEF, teaching science at Lade elementary and Gauldal secondary high schools, and roles as a facilitator and student assistant at NTNU. Torstein holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from NTNU, a postgraduate teaching qualification from NTNU, and has also studied at the University of Oslo.
