Kenny MacPherson

Kenny MacPherson has extensive experience in IT management and infrastructure development, currently serving as the Head of Property, Asset Management and Facilities at Orkney Islands Council since March 2016. Previously held roles include Interim Head of Service for Property, IT and Facilities, and ICT Services Manager, where significant improvements in service delivery and infrastructure performance were achieved. Kenny has also acted as Director and Consultant at Signalbox Consulting Ltd. and served as IT Infrastructure Manager at Hunter Boot Ltd., leading the implementation of technology solutions for major clients. Earlier career highlights include roles at Exova Group Limited and Wolfson Microelectronics, where crucial governance and architectural frameworks were developed. Kenny holds a MSc in Information Systems from Robert Gordon University and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Aberdeen.
