Lee Groat

Lee Groat has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as the Deputy Launch Authority at Kirkwall Lifeboat Station since February 2022. In addition, Lee has been a Marine Pilot for Orkney Islands Council since June 2015 and a Rig Mover at Intermoor since June 2013. Previously, Lee held the position of Master Mariner/Captain with NorthLink Ferries Ltd from April 2006 to June 2013. Lee's education includes training at Stromness Nautical School and South Shields.
