Matt Arges is a recent Honours Bachelor of Geology graduate from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, ON. Their Honours Thesis focused on Spodumene-rich Pegmatites in the Georgia Lake Area. Matt gained practical experience as a Geotech during a contract with Chalice’s Cameron Lake Gold Project in 2015, engaging in various exploration activities. They co-organized a field trip to Iceland and Sweden for the Lakehead University Student Chapter of the SEG, enriching their understanding of mine operations. Currently, Matt holds the position of Senior Exploration Geologist at Orla Mining Ltd, continuing to develop their expertise in the geology field.
