Wilfrido Rangel

Wilfrido Rangel is an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor currently employed at Orla Mining Ltd since November 2023. Prior to this role, Rangel served as Supervisor de mantenimiento Mina at FRESNILLO PLC from November 2017 to December 2022, and as a Tecnico en instrumentacion at Sukarne from November 2016 to December 2017. Rangel has also held the position of Progrador jr at JIDOKA AUTOMATIZACION, where responsibilities included automation projects for processes, control, and instrumentation. Earlier experience includes working at ISControl S.A de C.V as a Técnico Instrumentacion y Control, focusing on installation and management of electrical wiring and field instrumentation at Peñoles’ smelting plant, and as an Ingeniero residente at Cooper Standard, providing maintenance and installation support in control and automation. Rangel holds a degree in mechatronics engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de La Laguna, obtained between 2007 and 2013.
