John Brown

John Brown, CSP, OHST, CHSP, currently serves as the Manager of Occupational Safety at Orlando Health since February 2016. Previously, John held the position of Manager of Environmental, Health and Occupational Safety at Mayo Clinic Health System, overseeing compliance for emergency management and safety protocols in a 230-bed hospital and associated outpatient facilities. Prior experience includes roles as Manager of Environmental, Health & Safety at Miraca Life Sciences, where John contributed to providing diagnostic services, and as Director of Environmental, Health & Safety at the American Red Cross, managing EHS activities across multiple states. Additional experience encompasses safety management roles at Comcast Cable and AT&T Broadband, along with foundational work in safety coordination and avionics in the United States Air Force. John holds a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies from Lynn University and has completed coursework at the University of Texas at Arlington OSHA Education Center.
