Somer Sutton

Somer Sutton is an experienced science educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at Orange County Public Schools since July 2015. In addition to this role, Somer has been a Summer Camp Instructor at Orlando Science Center and a Hostess at Universal Orlando Resort since 2016. Somer also holds significant leadership experience as the Director of the Academy of Environmental Water Technology at Brevard County Schools, overseeing curriculum development, teacher training, and program endorsement by industry professionals. With a strong background in various scientific disciplines, including Chemistry and Physics, Somer has taught secondary science and Forensics to high school students. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and multiple degrees in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum from Argosy University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Health Sciences from Stephens College.
