Preston Toothman is an experienced professional in the baseball industry, currently serving as an Analyst/Scout at Stadium Ventures and as a Business Development Manager at Velo Sports, both since January 2024. Previously, Preston completed an externship with Major League Baseball in June 2022, collaborating with fellow Gettysburg College students to develop innovative strategies for ticket sales and fan engagement while gaining exposure to various roles within the organization. Preston holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematical Economics from Gettysburg College, graduating in May 2023, and is an alumnus of William R Boone High School, where studies were completed in May 2019.

The Orlando Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. The Solar Bears are owned and operated by the Orlando Magic and the DeVos family, and have qualified for the Kelly Cup Playoffs in five out of eleven seasons. The Solar Bears play their games at the Amway Center in downtown Orlando.
