Bernard Kensey

Bernard Kensey has extensive experience in the education sector, having served as a teacher at New Orleans Public Schools since August 1978, where responsibilities include developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), interpreting MDE reports, participating in professional development, and assessing students with disabilities. Prior to this role, Bernard Kensey taught at Caddo Parish from August 2005 to May 2007 and worked as a Slot Attendant at Harrah's Casino from October 2000 to August 2005. Bernard Kensey holds a Master plus 30 degree in Adapted Physical Education and Education Leadership: Administration & Supervision from the University of New Orleans (1982-1993) and a Bachelor of Arts in Health, Physical Education and Safety from Dillard University (1973-1977).
