Samantha Pichon

Samantha Pichon has a diverse work experience. Most recently, they worked at the Orleans Parish School Board as the Executive Director of Equity and Strategic Planning. Prior to this, they served as the Chief of Staff at NOLA Public Schools and the Director of Operations and Student Activities at McDonogh 35 HS. Additionally, Samantha worked as the Executive Director at Westbank YMCA at Federal City and held multiple roles at Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans, including Vice President of Health Ministries and Director of Emergency Management. Samantha also served as the Vice Chair at GNOVOAD. Samantha began their career as a student at Tulane University.

Samantha Pichon began their education at McDonogh #35 High School, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Samantha then pursued a bachelor's degree at Xavier University of Louisiana from 1999 to 2004, majoring in Psychology and Political Science. After completing their undergraduate studies, Samantha went on to Tulane University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Public Health degree with a focus on Community Health Science, Health Education, and Communications.
