Shawn Calafatis, CPA, CMA

Shawn Calafatis, CPA, CMA has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Shawn began their career at ConocoPhillips in 2005 as a Financial & JV Accountant, where they gained valuable experience in financial accounting and joint ventures. In 2007, they joined Twin Butte Energy Ltd. as a Financial Accountant before being promoted to Finance Supervisor in 2009.

In 2011, Calafatis moved to Palliser Oil & Gas Corporation as a Controller, overseeing the financial operations of the company. Shawn then transitioned to Endurance Energy Ltd in 2013, continuing their role as Controller until 2016.

Most recently, Calafatis joined ORLEN Upstream Canada in 2016 as the Controller, where they are currently responsible for managing financial activities. With their CPA and CMA qualifications, combined with their extensive work experience, Calafatis is equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to excel in their role.

Shawn Calafatis, CPA, CMA completed their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Accounting at the Haskayne School of Business from 2002 to 2006. In November 2008, they obtained the CPA, CMA certification from CPA Alberta.
