Asaf Doron

Asaf Doron is an experienced Project Engineer and Project Manager at Ormat Technologies, Inc. since August 2016, specializing in the design and construction of geothermal and solar power plants. Responsibilities include leading engineering scopes and managing project milestones while ensuring collaboration with stakeholders. Prior to this role, Asaf served as a Rotating Equipment Engineer, focusing on the design and optimization of Organic Rankine Cycle turbines and drive systems. Previous experience includes a role as a Research and Development Test Engineer at Stratasys, where comprehensive testing of 3D printing systems was conducted, and as a Student Engineer at RMH Lachish Industries, gaining practical knowledge in mechanical systems. Asaf holds a Master's degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
