VP Technical And Maintenance at Ormat Technologies

Yehiel (Yale) Viner has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Yehiel (Yale) is currently serving as the VP Technical and Maintenance at Ormat Technologies, Inc., a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director Control and Automation at the same company from November 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Ormat Technologies, Inc., Yehiel worked at Israel Natural Gas Lines (INGL) as the Electrical and Control division manager from July 2017 to November 2021.

Yehiel also has entrepreneurial experience, having founded and served as the CEO of Tiffo Investments Ltd. from January 2014 to June 2017. In this role, they focused on financing and implementing smart cities and energy efficient projects.

Prior to Tiffo Investments, Yehiel co-founded and served as CEO of Menolinx systems, where they designed and manufactured smart grid and smart city solutions. Yehiel (Yale) established distribution channels for Menolinx products worldwide and led the company from January 2006 to December 2013.

Additionally, Yehiel co-founded and served as CEO of Lead Control Ltd, a company specializing in control and automation, building management, and security systems. Yehiel (Yale) successfully delivered numerous projects globally and developed several products during their tenure from August 1988 to December 2013.

Yehiel also had previous roles at Baran Group as a Partnership from 2000 to 2005, Ludan Group as a Control engineer from 1987 to 1989, and Texel Electronics as a Project Engineer from January 1985 to July 1988.

Yehiel (Yale) Viner holds a B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they obtained between 1982 and 1986. Yehiel (Yale) also pursued an MBA in Finance at Tel Aviv University from 2002 to 2003.
