Koldo Atxutegi

Koldo Atxutegi has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Koldo is currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer at Ormazabal since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Attraction to Bizkaia/FDI Director of the Government of Biscay at Diputación Foral de Bizkaia from 2019 to 2023, where they were responsible for attracting foreign investments and implementing strategic projects.

From 2015 to 2019, Koldo Atxutegi worked as the Foreign Affairs Director at Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. Before that, they held the position of Sales Manager and CMO at Biolan from 2009 to 2015, where they were also a co-investor in the company and responsible for designing and implementing the commercial strategy.

At the beginning of their career, Koldo Atxutegi worked at Gobierno Vasco, where they served as a Foreign Affairs advisor for the Basque Country Government from 2006 to 2009 and as the Government Delegate for the Basque Government in Chile from 2003 to 2006.

Recently, in 2022, Koldo attended Harvard Business School for a short-term program focused on Private Equity and Venture Capital.
