Mel Ashton

Mr Ashton is an Australian Chartered Accountant who has over 40 years’ experience with significant hands-on experience and leadership roles in multiple industries, including Agriculture, Banking & Finance and Mining & Exploration. He was awarded the Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CAANZ) Meritorious Service Award in August 2019. This award recognises outstanding service to the Profession and to CAANZ.

Mr Ashton has consistently delivered required outcomes through his extensive and diverse career and he specialises in helping organisations achieve growth and change in accordance with agreed strategies and plans, whilst building engagement with all key stakeholders.

Mr Ashton currently serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Quintis Sandalwood Pty Ltd, a Non-Executive Director of Aurora Labs Ltd (ASX:A3D) and Non-Executive Chairman of Venture Minerals Ltd (ASX:VMS).
