John Kieran is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement, planning, and marketing within the food and beverage sector. Currently serving as the Head of Procurement & Planning at Ornua since August 2013, John has also held roles as a Procurement Manager for Kerrygold butter and powders and as a Sales Executive for dairy ingredients across multiple regions. Prior to this, John worked as a Marketing Advisor for Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board, focusing on developing international markets in the Middle East, and as a Senior Consultant at Hays, where responsibilities included establishing a new multilingual recruitment business unit. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Manager at Industry & Investment NSW, promoting investment in Finance and ICT sectors. John holds an MSc in International Marketing Practice from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History from the University of Galway.
