Catherine Christiansen

Catherine Christiansen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community health and wellness. Currently serving as the Coordinator for Orono Public Schools, Catherine leads initiatives for The Orono Coalition and Orono Healthy Youth, focusing on promoting connectedness and wellbeing among youth and the community. Previous roles include Employer Education Coordinator at NAMI Minnesota, where Catherine provided vital mental health education to local employers, and Employee Wellness Educator with Partners in Prevention, collaborating to reduce substance abuse among youth. Catherine has also held various positions in fundraising and development, notably as Director of Development at The Retreat in Wayzata, Minnesota. Educationally, Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in the College of Human Ecology.
