Florian W. F.

Florian W. F. has extensive work experience in various roles related to geospatial data engineering, research software engineering, and GIS consulting. Florian W. is currently employed as a Geospatial Data Engineer at OroraTech since 2023. Prior to that, Florian worked at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) from 2020 to 2023 as a Research Software Engineer, where they focused on creating cloud-native earth observation infrastructure and data engineering for satellite imagery segmentation. Florian W. also worked as a Geospatial Business & Data Analyst at Telefónica Germany from 2018 to 2019 and as a GIS Consultant at Tensing from 2016 to 2018. Florian's previous experience includes roles such as a Python Developer and System Administrator at Rijkswaterstaat from 2016 to 2018, a Graduate Intern at CGI Nederland in 2015, a GIS Intern at M+W Group in 2013, and a Seasonal Employee at SEW Eurodrive in 2013.

Florian W. F. completed a Master's Degree in MSc Geomatics - for the Built Environment from Delft University of Technology between 2014 and 2016.
