Leanne Evans Brito

Leanne Evans Brito is a highly experienced aerospace professional currently serving as Senior Project Manager at OroraTech since August 2025, responsible for the thermal imager payload for the CSA WildFireSat mission. Prior experience includes over a decade at MDA in various roles such as Program Manager for the Canadian Robotics System on the International Space Station, where responsibilities encompassed systems engineering, simulations, real-time engineering, and operations. Additional roles at MDA included Business Capture Manager and Business Development Manager, focusing on customer collaboration and identifying growth opportunities in commercial and government robotics, as well as serving as System Engineer on satellite servicing missions. Leanne also contributed as Project Engineer at OHB-System, working on Earth observation satellites, and held Development Engineer positions at Pratt and Whitney Canada, supporting engine assembly processes. Leanne holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Ryerson University and a Master's degree in Space Studies from the International Space University.
