Lars DePauw

Lars DePauw is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategy within the environmental sector. Currently serving as President and Executive Director of the Orphan Well Association since July 2017, Lars previously held the position of Senior Environmental Engineer at Matrix Solutions, Inc. from April 2015 to July 2017. Prior roles include Director of Strategic Accounts at Tervita and Manager of Environment and Reclamation at Penn West Exploration. Lars has also contributed to the Alberta Water Council as Director of the Oil and Gas Sector and as a Director at Redwater Water Disposal Company. Lars holds a B.Sc.Eng and M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph, earned between 1992 and 1999.
