Peter Dejans

Director at Orpheus

Peter Dejans has worked in various roles since 1990. Peter began their career as an Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in 1990. In 1993, they became the Deputy Director at Philharmonische Vereniging Paleis van Schone Kunsten / Palais des Beaux Arts. In 1994, they took on the role of Intendant at Beethoven Academy. Finally, in 1996, they became the Director at Orpheus Institute.

Peter Dejans began their education in 1976 at Sint-Albertuscollege, Haasrode, studying Latin-Greek. Peter then attended the University of Leuven, Belgium, from 1983 to 1988, where they obtained an LL.M. in Law Faculty. In 1988-1989, they attended the University of Tübingen, Germany, for a German Law Program for Foreign Law Students. After this, they attended the University of Leuven, Belgium, from 1989 to 1990 for a Postgraduate Business Economics program. Finally, they have received a Doctorate honoris causa from the Freiburg University of Music in June 2022. Additionally, they have studied Piano and Conducting (choral) at the Royal Conservatory Brussels and Lemmensinstituut Leuven.
