Alfred Weightman

Alfred Weightman is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as PPA and Energy Transition Partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP since January 2024, Alfred specializes in negotiating renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and assisting clients in achieving clean energy objectives while managing costs. Prior to this role, Alfred held positions as Senior Project Legal Director at GoldenPeaks Capital and Corporate Counsel at Amazon Web Services (AWS). Earlier in the career, Alfred was a Senior Associate and Associate at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, and began professional practice as a Solicitor and Trainee Solicitor at Shakespeare Martineau. Alfred holds a Graduate LLB from Nottingham Law School and a BA (Hons) in Spanish and Management from the University of Leeds.
