Cody Peterson

Cody Peterson is a Partner in the Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, having joined the firm in February 2025. In this role, Cody represents startups and venture funds in various industries, including e-commerce, fintech, climatetech, future of work, edtech, life sciences, and biotech, and assists high-growth companies with financings, IPOs, and M&A transactions. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner and Corporate Associate at Gunderson Dettmer from September 2014 to February 2025 and as a Corporate Associate at Latham & Watkins from October 2012 to September 2014. Additionally, Cody has experience as an LSAT Instructor at PowerScore and worked as a Summer Associate and Chief Operating Officer at Fit Fuel, LLC. Cody holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, a BA in Economics from Pomona College, and attended the National University of Singapore in 2012.
