Lana le Hir

Lana Le Hir is a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, specializing in decarbonization and sustainability since February 2022, where Lana represents corporate purchasers and developers in renewable energy agreements to support global carbon reduction goals. Prior experience includes serving as a senior associate at K&L Gates, focusing on sustainability agreements and utility-scale renewable power purchase agreements from February 2020 to February 2022. As senior counsel at Avangrid Renewables from June 2011 to February 2020, Lana managed legal support for power purchase agreements. Earlier roles include professor of law research assistant at Lewis & Clark Law School and an international intellectual property and corporate litigation legal intern at ZY Partners in Beijing. First employed at General Atomics from May 2004 to January 2009, Lana was the youngest senior engineer in the company’s history, leading a team in developing innovative wireless technology. Lana holds a Juris Doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego.
