Samir Bakhru

Samir Bakhru is a Partner and Head of the Global Technology Companies Group at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP since July 2015, where Samir leads the Global Technology Practice and advises tech founders and investors on raising capital and business development from inception to exit. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate in M&A at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, and a Venture Capital Fellow at Mercury Fund/Invest Detroit. Samir also held various positions at Deloitte Consulting, KPMG Consulting, and Ernst & Young, focusing on M&A implementations and finance transformations. Academic qualifications include a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Emory University.
