Shawn Atkinson

Shawn Atkinson serves as the Technology Companies Group Lead Partner for Europe at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP since September 2014 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Member of the Board of Directors, London Corporate Group leader, and Co-Leader of the Global Technology Practice Group. Prior to Orrick, Atkinson practiced as a Partner at Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP and was a Senior Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specializing in corporate law with a focus on Private Equity and Venture Capital. Early career experiences include roles at Dewey Ballantine LLP, Linklaters, and CQS as Interim General Counsel. Atkinson's educational background includes law degrees from Nottingham Law School and archaeology and anthropology degrees from the University of Oxford, University of Nottingham, and McMaster University.
