Cody Castañeda

Cody Castañeda currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Partnerships & M&A Americas at Ørsted since June 2022. Prior to this role, Castañeda was a Board Member at YPF LUZ from May 2019 to June 2022. Castañeda's extensive experience includes a tenure at GE Energy Financial Services from 2013 to June 2022, where the responsibilities included Senior Vice President of Deal Structuring & Execution and Vice President of Global Markets in Renewables, overseeing over $4 billion in transactions in the energy sector. Castañeda was also a Manager at GE from 2010 to 2013, participating in a leadership program focused on business models and analysis of financial reporting and risk management. Earlier, Castañeda held the position of Senior Analyst at GE from 2006 to 2009. Castañeda holds a B.S. in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
